How Does It Work?
Every Simply Southern Elephant Tracking Bracelet includes access to your very own elephant to track. Included with your bracelet is a card that provides your elephant's name, age, picture, and a website to access your sea turtle's GPS tracking. On the elephant's tracking page, you can follow their incredible journey on an interactive tracking map.
Elephants are tagged with GPS tracking devices and this special opportunity is provided by African Wildlife Foundation.
At times, the GPS tracker on your elephant may show “no activity since ——.” This may be due to a few technical reasons—the GPS antenna may be damaged, debris has grown over the sensors that tell the transmitter to send signals, or the batteries that power the transmitter no longer work.
